The Commack School District seeks qualified applicants for the civil service position of:Senior Office AssistantSawmill Intermediate School 12 Month Permanent PositionTypical Hours: 7:45 am – 3:45 pmStart: On or around December 15, 2023 This position serves as the Secretary to the School Principal. To be considered for candidacy for this position, applicants must be permanent Senior Office Assistants or be reachable on an existing Senior Office Assistant civil service exam list in Suffolk County. All appointments are subject to civil service rules and Suffolk County Department of Civil Service approval. This position is covered by the Commack Schools Office Professionals’ contract, with a base starting salary of $49,295 for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate may qualify for additional stipends of up to $5,198 per year for acceptable college education and completion of the NAEOP Professional Standards Program.
