Candidates with coaching or collegiate playing experience are preferred. The coach is responsible for overseeing the day to day functions of the team including but not limited to: organizing and running practices six days a week (including school vacations), organizing out of season learning/training experiences, attending required meetings and enforcing district athletic policies.In addition: Assistants, JV and Freshman coaches will work cooperatively with the Varsity coach for assisting at games/contests, scouting, scheduling, coaches meetings, film and other assignments needed for the program.Candidates must meet NYS Education Department coaching requirements or be willing to take the required coaching courses.
