Behavior Intervention Specialist - Qualified candidates must have experience implementing strategies derived from Applied Behavior Analysis in a school setting. Applicants should have approximately 2 years of prior behavior consultation experience with staff supporting students with behavioral needs across ages and abilities, including students in a general education environment. Candidates must have experiences with crisis intervention, writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans. Applicants who hold their BCBA or applicants who are working toward their BCBA are preferred. A Special Education teaching certification is required. Consultation with Special Education and General Education teachers, across grade levels, to develop an inclusive teaching environment in various learning settings. RtI team member experience. Social Skills training experience. Use of IEP Direct, Google Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel.
