The Chatham Central School District, Chatham, New York, a progressive and child-centered district with an involved community, seeks qualified candidates to fill the role of 12-month Director of Innovation, Curriculum and Assessment. Candidates must be able to foster a culture of creativity and forward thinking. They must have the skills to build trust and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Candidates will need to identify emerging educational trends, develop strategic innovation initiatives, and provide innovative strategies that are anchored in current research to ensure academic success for all student groups. The successful candidate will be the district’s instructional leader, will supervise curriculum development, will use data to improve instruction, will oversee and participate in grant writing for the district, will be the district’s assessment coordinator, will support our teachers with instructional technology in their classrooms, and will coordinate all district professional development.
