Chittenango Central Schools has the following anticipated vacancy for the 2023-24 school year for: Long-Term Substitute Elementary School Counselor- Bridgeport Elementary is a UPK-4 building in the Chittenango Central School District. We house approximately 260 students. A long-term sub for our school counselor is needed from approximately April 1, 2024-June 28, 2024.Responsibilities:Implement the continuum of counseling servicesMaintain strong home, school and community connectionAnalyze student data and make decisions around increasing student success with the child study team (BESST)Advise and counsel students regarding academic, educational, and social and emotional topicsEnsure regular communication with families, teachers, and students regarding student progress and adjust plans as neededAssist administrators with planning and carrying out school-related programsSupport and attend appropriate student activities and eventsTeach school counseling related curriculumSupport social and emotional learningMaintain recordsBe accessible to students, family and staffAssist students/parents in understanding school policies and proceduresCollaborate with county services Closing date for receiving materials is Friday, January 26, 2024.
