Chappaqua CSD seeks a thoughtful and knowledgeable educator to serve in the anticipated probationary position of Director of Technology & Innovation beginning 6/10/2023. Under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Superintendent, this educator will possess the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Develop, lead, and manage the District's instructional technology plan to enhance the learning environment.Implement a forward-thinking vision for integrating innovative technologies into all aspects of the learning process.Provide guidance and coaching to students, teachers, and administrators on innovative instructional technologies and their effective use.Observe and evaluate teachers as part of the APPR process.Demonstrate a proven track record of implementing cutting-edge technologies embedded in curriculum and instruction.Possess a deep understanding of current educational research on technology and experience with models for technology integration in a 1:1 environment.Familiarity with managing a predominantly Apple environment and relevant certifications.Demonstrate skills and knowledge to be a successful CIO and DPO, including managing technical staff and overseeing technology contracts and purchasing.Have a strong understanding of cybersecurity and data protection, including experience implementing effective security measures and protocols.Possess excellent administrative and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, such as staff, students, and parents, to ensure a successful technology integration plan.
