Secretary to the School Superintendent12 Month PositionThe Chappaqua Central School District is seeking a highly organized, professional, and discrete Secretary to the School Superintendent to provide executive-level administrative support. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Superintendent’s office and serves as a key point of contact for District staff, families, and community stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesProvide confidential administrative support to the SuperintendentManage the Superintendent’s calendar, meetings, travel arrangements, and correspondencePrepare, proofread, and distribute reports, memos, and presentationsServe as liaison between the Superintendent, Board of Education, District administrators, staff and the publicMaintain official records, files, and documents in accordance with District policiesAnswer phones and respond to inquiries with professionalism and discretionPerform other duties as assigned to support District operationsQualificationsHigh school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of administrative or executive secretarial experience, preferably in an educational settingStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsDemonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs., and office management systemsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentSalary & BenefitsSalary range: $103,000-$118,000Benefits are aligned with the COSA Unit.
