The Chappaqua Central School District is a community of six schools serving approximately 3500 students in Westchester County. Chappaqua CSD is looking for a child-centered, thoughtful & knowledgeable educator to serve in the probationary position of (0.4) CPSE Chairperson assigned to the role of district-wide CPSE Chairperson beginning 8/28/25. Note: applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Assists with the identification and placement of all types of exceptional students.Current knowledge of best practices in educating students with disabilities in inclusive school environments.Ability to effectively facilitate group decision making processes.Thorough knowledge of current federal and state regulations governing CPSE.Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with parents and teachers.
