The successful candidate will work with students with a variety of educational disabilities in an integrated co-teaching setting. Additional duties may include providing resource room and direct/indirect consultant teaching support. Expected Attributes:Patience and empathyAdaptability and flexibilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of special education practicesKnowledge of writing and progress monitoring IEPs Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityNew York State Certification as a special educator (K-12, 1-6 , and preK-12 certifications considered, teachers with additional subject extensions are encourages to apply) Applications must be submitted by October 31, 2025 on OLAS.
