Pay: From $41,632.00 per 10-month school yearJob description:School Nurse (RN) - 1:1 assignment with one studentWe currently have a vacancy at our middle school for a Registered Nurse, (RN), in a 1:1 assignment with a middle school student who requires this professional with them throughout the duration of the school day. RN License (Required)This position differs from many “typical” nursing assignments: The daily work schedule is a 7-hour day, Monday through Friday, during the “school year” which is 10 months or 183 scheduled work days. This schedule mirrors the “school” time-off calendar of holidays and recess periods (and snow days!). Duties include, among others, monitoring the student and providing emergency treatment if needed, preparing and maintaining school health records, administering prescribed treatments and performing health screenings as necessary. Develops supportive relationships with students and advances positive school culture.
