Title: Technology Integration Specialist/ Instructional Technology TeacherReports to: Director of Information TechnologyTerms of employment: Full-time, 10-month, district-wide assignment Benefits afforded as per collective bargaining agreement with Cobleskill-Richmondville Teachers Association (C-RTA)Position Overview: Technology Integration Specialist/Instructional Technology Teacher will provide instruction, training and resources to staff and students in order to facilitate the use of technology in the classroom. Responsibilities: Teach Digital Citizenship to students and staffTeach internet safety to students and staffProvide training to teachers in the use of current technology to meet curriculum goalsDevelop key competencies necessary and required of all C-R employees in conjunction with the Director of Technology and Director of Teaching and LearningProvide training to all staff in key competenciesMaintain accurate records of staff completing key competency trainingMaintain current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technologyAssist in the development and implementation of technology professional developmentSupport the use of computers and emerging technology in the classroomDesign and implement professional development for staff based on the SAMR model, ISTE standards, and NYS Next Generation Learning StandardsCreate turnkey instructional lessons and material based on SAMR model, ISTE standards, and NYS Next Generation Learning Standards for use by classroom teachersProvide collegial coaching, including co-planning and/or co-teaching of lessonsConduct model lessons in the classroom using gradual release to increase teacher efficacy related to technology in the classroomPerform other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology
