2026-2027 School-Year Anticipated Vacancies 1.0 TOSA – Instructional Technology and Administrative Technology Coach Please see below: Member and Liaison to Technology Plan Committee Support the implementation of goals within the Technology Plan. Goal 1 Ensure effective student learning by supporting curriculum alignment and fidelity of implementation of instructional software while ensuring fiscal responsibility by analyzing usage and duplication. Support non-instructional software by analyzing usage, duplication, and fidelity of implementation. Goal 2 Provide targeted resources and training to support effective integration of instructional and non-instructional software. Goal 3 Provide staffing aligned with District goals to support technology integration, instruction, and efficient operations. Goal 4 The purpose of integrating artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational settings is to foster a learning environment that enables students to express their creativity and demonstrate their understanding of concepts effectively. By leveraging artificial intelligence in schools, we aim to ignite students’ creativity and empower them to showcase their understanding in diverse and innovative ways, transforming the educational landscape into dynamic space of exploration and knowledge creation. Goal 5 Educate every member of the school community to practice digital safety and safeguard networks of the schools’ infrastructure. Instructional Technology Guide teachers, teaching assistants, and those in roles of instruction in learning instructional software to provide in the classroom. Learn features of ClassLink and provide support to instructional staff. Under the supervision of the Information Systems Administrator, provide professional development in group settings and on an individual basis. Be a resource to principals by providing information to teachers at faculty meetings. Co-teach lessons embedded in the classroom upon request. Triage help desk tickets in response to instructional software related issues. Respond to those that involve user challenges and forward technical issues to Data Manager. Assess the usage of software and participate with the team in eliminating underused instructional software and identify instructional software not currently utilized by the District for consideration to purchase in the budget cycle. Districtwide Administrative and Non-Instructional Productivity Technology Tools Guide teachers and participate in the team providing non-instructional employees with support in the use of administrative and non-instructional productivity technology tools. Learn features of non-instructional tools and provide support to instructional staff. Provide professional development in group settings and on an individual basis. Triage help desk tickets for teachers and other instructional staff in response to instructional software-related issues. Respond to those that involve user challenges and forward technical issues to Data Manager. Provide teachers with support in Teacher Vue and StudentVue in Synergy. Develop videos to assist parents and students. Safety Awareness Provide instructional coaching regarding safe and effective integration of technology to optimize student learning. Act as a resource for parents by providing materials regarding the safe usage of technology Offer parent nights to present materials that parents might find useful in managing the screentime and interactions on websites. Act as a resource to teachers to problem solve students’ use of technology inside and outside the classroom. Assist in the development of a digital newsletter for employees.
