2026-2027 School Year Anticipated Vacancies 1.0 Dual Language (Spanish-English) Classroom Teacher (Elementary) - Kindergarten Location: Matthew Paterson Elementary School Duties include but are not limited to: - Plan for and deliver standards-based instruction in English and Spanish aligned to the New York State Education Department learning standards - Assess student progress using formative and summative measures in both languages - Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners including English Language Learners (ELLs) - Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment - Communicate effectively with families in both English and Spanish - Collaborate with grade-level and ENL staff to support student success *Individuals must have Bilingual NYS certification or extension*
