2026-2027 School Year Anticipated Vacancies 1.0 Dual Language (Spanish – English) Classroom Teacher (Elementary) - *2 Anticipated Vacancies: 1 Kindergarten, 1 First Grade *Appointments to these positions are contingent on budgetary approval Location: Matthew Paterson Elementary School Duties include but are not limited to: - Plan for and deliver standards-based instruction in English and Spanish aligned to the New York State Education Department learning standards - Assess student progress using formative and summative measures in both languages - Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners including English Language Learners (ELLs) - Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom environment - Communicate effectively with families in both English and Spanish - Collaborate with grade-level and ENL staff to support student success Individuals must have proper NYS certification
