2025-2026 School Year Anticipated Vacancy 1.0 ENL Coordinator - Teacher on Special Assignment Duration: ASAP – through the end of the 2025-2026 school year Duties include but are not limited to: Handle registration, placement, and assessment of new ENL students including BOCES applications Coordinate professional development for ENL and teachers who are assigned ENL students Establish and lead elementary and secondary level ENL committees Provide recommendations/feedback to the District on the needs of the buildings, programs, and support. This may include presentations at Board meetings. Act as a coach for ENL and teachers who are assigned ENL students. Attend Curriculum councils at each level Monitor and report student progress towards state mandated minutes and programs. Coordinate ENL assessments and review ENL assessment data. Support teachers with end-of-year assessments. Support the transition to WIDA standards and assessments Coordinate with nurses districtwide to ensure compliance with vaccine and physicals for ENL students Fulfill Heads of Departments responsibilities *Must have proper NYS certifications*
