Carmel Central School District is seeking an experienced elementary school building leader for a tenure track position.The Carmel Central School District is located just 56 miles from New York City. Carmel Central School District provides a high quality education for students within a pristine suburban setting. The District encompasses 85 square miles and serves students from two counties (Dutchess and Putnam), and from six different towns, (Kent, Carmel, Putnam Valley, Patterson, Southeast and East Fishkill). The area is comprised of rolling hills, lush green meadows, sparkling lakes, reservoirs and ponds that offer the residents year-round activities. Local attractions include the Great Swamp which is New York’s largest freshwater wetlands, the Fahnestock State Park and Thunder Ridge Ski Area.
