Performance Responsibilities:To provide speech/language services to students that qualify under special education To assess and evaluate students through IST/CSE.Case management responsibilities and bill for Medicaid services To provide each child a program of service that meets his/her individual needs, interests, and abilities.To create an environment conducive to learning as it applies to a student's IEP.To guide students' learning towards the achievement of curricular goals as it pertains to the students IEP goals for speech/language.To perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education/Director of Pre-K.May include language development services for the district-wide Pre-K program. Minimum Requirements:New York State Certification and LicensureTerms of Employment:9/5/23-10/27/23 (Dates dependent upon the leave of the employee)Compensation per CTA Contract
