ANTICIPATEDFull-Time Probationary School PsychologistByram Hills is seeking a dedicated and experienced school psychologist to join our team and support various student needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in behaviour modification and intervention planning.Responsibilities may include:Provide therapeutic support to students with behavioral needsConduct behavioral assessments and psychoeducational evaluations to identify students; academic, behavioural, and emotional needsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and implement behaviour support plansUtilize ABA principles and techniques to address behavioural challenges and promote positive outcomesParticipate in CSE/CPSE meetings and provide input on behavioural goals and strategiesDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans to address students' unique needsProvide counseling and therapy services to students, families, and school staffWork closely with the school leadership team and faculty to promote a positive and supportive school environmentQualifications:Valid NYS certification as a school psychologistExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
