The Bethpage UFSD is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Principal of Charles Campagne Elementary School. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and positive school culture that promotes the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students. As principal, you will lead a dedicated team of educators and staff to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. We are hoping to appoint the new principal of Charles Campagne at the end of September. QUALIFICATIONS: School Building Leader (SBL) CertificationSuccessful teaching and administrative experience.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of the Elementary Curricula.A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.Demonstrated group leadership and collaboration skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides strong instructional leadership to develop and implement a shared vision of educational excellence.Promotes and fosters a climate that is inviting, safe and conducive to learning for all staff and students.Collaborates with teachers to design and implement effective curriculum and instructional practices to meet the needs of all students.Engages families and the community in the educational process and promote partnerships that support student success.Organizes and coordinates schoolwide events and activities.Observes and evaluates staff members and facilitates building level meetings.Manages school operations, including budgeting and staffing.Oversees day to day school operations and completes other related tasks as required by central administration.
