Music Teacher - Probationary The Bay Shore Union Free School District , an equal opportunity employer, is seeking exceptional candidates for an anticipated probationary Music Teache r position for the 2026–2027 school year. The assignment may include choir, general music, or other music courses based on program needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide developmentally appropriate general music and choral instruction using effective, student-centered practices. Support student musicianship, creativity, confidence, and participation. Prepare students for performances and school music events, as applicable. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organized learning environment. Differentiate instruction and respond flexibly to the needs of diverse learners. Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and administrators. Candidates should demonstrate strong musicianship. Experience teaching middle school choir is preferred, and piano/keyboard proficiency is required.
