The Bay Shore Union Free School District, an equal opportunity employer, anticipates the following vacancy for the 2025-2026 school year:ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL The ideal candidate will possess:A valid and appropriate New York State administrative certificate in school building leadershipSuccessful administrative/supervisory experience and a minimum of five years of teaching experienceBroad knowledge of the principles and practices of school administration and of current educational trends in curriculum and instruction, including the NYS Learning Standards and Assessments, the Danielson Framework for teacher observations, and instructional technology Comprehensive knowledge of the methods, materials, procedures, and practices commensurate with the role Deep understanding of fiscal, physical, and human resources to efficiently and effectively schedule, budget and allocate building resourcesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the larger school communityAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all stakeholder groupsInterested candidates should forward a letter of intent, resume and copy of appropriate New York State certification by Friday, February 7, 2025 to Ms. Kristina M.
