Please see the job description below for additional details. Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic K-2 STEAM Specialist. As a K-2 STEAM Specialist, you will take on a pivotal role in nurturing young minds' curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills through the lens of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).Duties and Responsibilities:Initiate and deliver STEAM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods. Employs a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments, which guide the learning process toward curriculum goals and student learning. Develop lesson plans, unit outlines, and other instructional planning documents as needed and/or requested by supervisors and administration.Develop and implement a K-2 coding curriculum which fosters critical thinking skills.Collaborate and coach teachers on STEAM initiatives and instructional best practices in the STEAM areas. Participate in STEAM Program curriculum development Incorporate instructional technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration. Provide instruction and assistance to students in the use and application of digital learning and instructional software tools.Organizes, develops, and coordinates special STEAM events/activities. Attends professional development and training related to STEAM programs and methodologies. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, STEAM-related field, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).Teaching certification with a focus on early childhood or elementary education.Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing engaging STEAM lessons for K-2 students.Strong knowledge of current educational technology tools and their integration into instruction.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.A passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking in young learners.Interested candidates should include their resume, cover letter and appropriate certification to Kristina M.
