Position Title: Junior Varsity Girls Basketball CoachPosition Overview:Bronxville is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable individual to serve as the Junior Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. The ideal candidate will support student-athlete development both on and off the court, foster teamwork and sportsmanship, and align with the mission and values of our athletic program. Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and run all JV girls' basketball practices and games.Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and team concepts appropriate to the JV level.Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment.Collaborate with the varsity coach to ensure continuity across the program.Supervise student-athletes during all team activities.Communicate effectively with players, parents, and athletic staff.Ensure compliance with school, district, and athletic league policies. Qualifications:Prior coaching experience preferred (especially at the high school or youth level).Knowledge of the game and the ability to teach skills progressively.CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Fingerprint clearance and background check required.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
