Teacher Resident Opportunity for Education Graduate StudentsBronxville Elementary SchoolJob Description:Bronxville is offering paid internship positions for the 2023-2024 school year to graduate students who are pursuing a Master of Education Degree (Early Childhood, Elementary 1-6 and/or Special Education) at a local college or university. Bronxville’s Teacher Resident program is an excellent opportunity for graduate students to gain experience while working alongside experienced mentor teachers in a high performing school district. Our Teacher Residents are exposed to cutting edge curriculum, modern instructional practices, technology infused classroom setups and the use of state of the art instructional technology. In addition, this internship provides opportunities to be part of grade level and school wide planning teams and provides access to regular professional development. Teacher Resident’s are assigned to collaborative grade level teams and are able to take an active role in their team planning process. Teacher Residents gain invaluable experience through substitute teaching in grades K-5. Such building coverage is on an as needed basis. Qualifications: Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in a Master of Education program or a program leading to teacher certification. We are only seeking Elementary (Grades K-5) candidates at this time.
