Position DescriptionThe Bronxville School (Bronxville NY, Westchester Co.) is seeking a Head Lacrosse Coach forour Boys Lacrosse program. The Head Varsity Coach will have many responsibilities, includingmentoring, training, coaching, and coordinating aspects of boy’s lacrosse program whilemaintaining the total development of the student-athlete as the highest priority. The candidate will perform other duties consistent with the nature of the position, and theAthletic Director may request that. The coach will have a thorough knowledge of the New YorkState Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA), Section 1, and the league. Requirements 1. NYS Coaching Requirements set forth by the NYSPHSAA. 2. Requires prior experience in Coaching the sport of application in either: a. Organizedcommunity, High School, or Collegiate level.3. Requires the ability to carry out the position's duties and responsibilities and accomplish itsobjectives.4. Requires knowledge of the rules and regulations of the sport, policies, and practices of TheBronxville School and the Bronxville Promise and regulations of the league/district in whichBronxville participates, the NYSPHSAA, and the standards of ethical conduct of interscholasticathletic team programs.
