BRENTWOOD UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT BRENTWOOD, NY 11717 The Brentwood Union Free School District, New York’s largest suburban school district, announces the following vacancies articulate, analytical, dedicated, progressive, and creative educators: ELEMENTARY Positions in Bilingual Early Childhood B-2 and Bilingual Childhood 1-6 Childhood Education with Bilingual Certification/Supplementary Bilingual Education Extension Certificate Qualifications: As appropriate to the position, must hold NYS Certification in Childhood Education 1-6 As appropriate to the position, must hold NYS Certification in Childhood Education B-2 Must hold NYS Bilingual Certification/Supplementary Bilingual Education Extension Certificate Successful public school teaching experience preferred Responsibilities: Align instruction and practice to the district’s Graduation Plus+ vision Design lessons that provide opportunity for problem-solving, creativity and communication skills in relation to real world problems Provide Bilingual instruction for elementary students Progressively expand student’s understanding and use of English as a New Language.
