ELEMENTARY/BILINGUAL TEACHERS (8) Early Childhood (Birth-Grade2)/ Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) with Bilingual Extension or Qualify for a Bilingual Supplementary License Qualifications:Must hold NYS Certification.Bilingual certified or qualify for a Bilingual Supplementary License – (Candidate must be able to speak, read and write in Spanish)Successful public school teaching experience preferred Responsibilities:Provide bilingual instruction for students in a Bilingual Transitional Program.Implement Science of Reading practices to support literacy development.Foster deep mathematical and scientific thinking through inquiry-based instruction and hands-on exploration.Engage students in meaningful social studies learning that promotes critical thinking and real-world connections.Establish and maintain behavior standards that foster student self-discipline and positive peer relationships.Develop, administer, and evaluate high-quality formative and summative assessments that balance content knowledge and problem-solving skills.Monitor student performance and adjust instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.Maintain accurate records of bilingual student assessments and progress.Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support bilingual student success.Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office for instructional and administrative tasks.
