The Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Generalist/Coordinator to join our school community. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting all aspects of human resources, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations, and providing support to employees and management. *Unless you currently hold an HR Coordinator or HR Generalist title this would be a provisional appointment. Responsibilities:Assist in the implementation and execution of HR programs and initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations.Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and practices.Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing.Assist in the coordination of new employee orientation and facilitate onboarding programs.Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.Assist in handling employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.Stay updated with HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance.Prepare HR reports and analyze data for various purposes.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with employees at all levels.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Preferred not required:Proficient in the Google platform.Knowledge of SchoolFront and/or Nvision.
