Title: Stevens Elementary Assistant Principal 1.0 (Temporary)Posting Date: March 4, 2023Qualifications: Valid New York State certification as a teacher and building administrator (SBL or SDA) is required. Candidates must demonstrate highly effective teaching and/or administrative experience in public education. Experience with scheduling and student management systems preferred. Responsibilities: The effective administration of:Student discipline; student supervision; teacher observations; implementing building events; and assisting the principal with building operationsThe Elementary Assistant Principal will work to support the Building Principal in all aspects of building administration. In addition, the Assistant Principal will work with K-12 Supervisors and Directors to coordinate academic initiatives across the three elementary buildings including the alignment of curriculum, instruction and enrichment activities.
