Superintendent of Schools Broadalbin-Perth Central School District The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District Board of Education is seeking a Superintendent of Schools to lead a high-performing district serving approximately 1,600 students across four schools on two campuses. The District is located in Fulton, Montgomery, and Saratoga counties. Broadalbin-Perth has a 96% graduation rate, 15 consecutive years of voter-approved budgets, a $44.7 million general fund budget, and is currently completing a $37.8 million capital project to modernize facilities and academic spaces. The Superintendent will be responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the District, including instructional leadership, personnel, operations, fiscal management, and community relations. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Board of Education and administrative team while maintaining appropriate Board-Superintendent roles and responsibilities. The Superintendent will also represent the District with the New York State Education Department (NYSED), state and local officials, employees, families, and community members. An application will not be considered complete until this step has been completed. Compensation: $185,000–$200,000 salary, with a three-year agreement and comprehensive benefits package. Application Deadline: November 6, 2026. Qualifications Required: New York State School District Leader (SDL) or School District Administrator (SDA) certification, or eligibility for certification. Minimum of five (5) years of tenured building level leadership experience. Experience as a central office administrator, district-level administrator, and/or principal. Demonstrated experience with district operations, finance, personnel, and administration. Preferred: Experience developing and implementing long-term district goals. Experience managing capital projects and public school finances. Knowledge of labor relations and NYSED requirements. Experience working with a Board of Education and community stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced degree in educational leadership or a related field.
