The Broadalbin-Perth Central School District is seeking teacher candidates for the Summer Academy program at B-P Elementary School.The BPES Summer Academy provides both academic support and enrichment to identified students entering grades K-6 four mornings a week for four weeks at the school. The 2023 Summer Academy will run 8 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday, July 10 through Aug. 3. This is an excellent opportunity for newly certified teachers to gain paid work experience in a supportive setting.Pay is per the Broadalbin-Perth Teachers Association contract. The current rate is $29.27 per hour.Candidates must hold a valid New York state teaching certification or be eligible for state certification prior to July 10, 2023.
