Physical Education Teacher (Full Year LOA), Todd ElementaryJob Description:Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate physical education lessons aligned with NYS learning standards. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong fitness habits. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success. Maintain a safe and supportive classroom and gym environment. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events as required. Qualifications: Valid New York State certification in Physical Education (K–12)Prior teaching experience preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
