The Briarcliff Manor UFSD is looking for a highly qualified Elementary Teacher who has a passion for STEAM content to serve as a Long Term Substitute at Todd Elementary School.Job Description:1. Provide direct instruction to students and collaborates with classroom teachers to support the instructional technology expectations of the districts 1:1 program outlined in the District Technology Plan.2. Facilitate a rigorous integrated STEAM program that incorporates the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math as a means of developing student inquiry, communication, and critical thinking during learning.3. Collaborate with classroom teachers, librarians, as well as the related arts teachers on digital literacies, maker space and coding projects.4. Collaborate with other computer teachers, technical staff, and administrative technology staff to support the use of technology in his or her building.5. Assist students in recognizing the rights, responsibilities and opportunities of living, and learning, in a digital world.6.
