Develops and administers science education curriculum, specifically in Earth Science, consistent with school district goals and vision and is aligned with revised state standards. Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning at the middle school level. Committed to student-centered and student-driven learning experiences with opportunities for student voice and choice.? Ability to work productively and collaboratively with the faculty and student body. NYS General Science Certification or NYS 7-12 Earth Science Certification required, experience teaching science at the middle school level preferred.
