Effective July 1, 2023.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:New York State Administrative Certification: SDA, SDLThree years administrative experience Experience as a building-level administrator preferredKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:LiteracyDevelopment of a K-12 Reading and Writing frameworkDevelopment and implementation of expectations for reading and writing instruction, including small group instruction, intervention and enrichmentUse of student learning data to inform systemic improvementsOverseeing cross-curricular integration of writing strategies in grades 6-12Professional Learning Improved coherence of instructional practices and interventions within the MTSS structure;Assist with the development and implementation of the District’s Mentoring Program;Provide job-embedded professional learning;Oversees the Professional Learning TeamSupervision and EvaluationObservation and evaluation of instructional staff per the APPR Plan Note: The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities.
