Principal Job Posting Title: Prek - 12 Principal Location: Bradford Central School District - Bradford, NY Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 based on experience and qualifications Reports to: Superintendent Anticipated Start Date: January 27, 2025Primary PurposeDirect and manage instructional programs and supervise operations and personnel at the building level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all building activities.Essential FunctionsOversee day-to-day school operations Manage school logistics and building level budgets Set learning goals for students and teachers based on state curriculum and District goals Evaluate and report on teacher performanceTend to student management and restorative practices Present data from school performance at school board meetings, conference days and faculty meetings Research and provide professional development on new resources and techniques to improve student performance Interview and hire school personnelReview and implement school policies and proceduresProvide guidance and counseling to faculty and staffHandle emergencies and school crisesOrganize school events and assembliesEnsure a safe and clean environment for students Attend conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trendsWork with the Head of Transportation, Guidance Counselor, Social Worker, CSE Chair, Curriculum Coordinator, School Resource Officer and Director of Facilities in each of these perspective areas to provide guidance and oversight Please provide a cover letter, resume, application, proof of NYS certification, transcripts, and letters of reference for a complete file.
