Salary: $25,736 - $26,286 Ability to also work and support students with varied academic needs Responsibilities: Assist the special education teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with developmental disabilities Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth Implement behavior management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Assist with classroom management and organization Support students with personal care needs, if required Experience: Previous experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities, is preferred Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse learning needs and styles Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals Patience and empathy when working with students who may have challenging behaviors or special needs Organizational skills to assist in maintaining a structured and supportive learning environment
