Ballston Spa High School is looking for a certified Special Education teacher for the BEST (Behavioral, Emotional, Social, Transitions) Strategies Resource Program. The position focuses on providing support to students who exhibit challenges with behaviors and social-emotional regulation. The program consists of five sections of resource with push in support from the school social worker. Experience working with students with behavioral and social emotional needs preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing a social-emotional curriculum, be knowledgeable in the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans, and be able to employ various techniques and methods of instruction to meet individual needs, work collaboratively with related service providers, and effectively lead staff.Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Students with Disabilities 7-12Salary: BASE: $50,500 (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base) Please Upload: Letter of Interest, Updated Resume, Certification, Transcripts, and two (2) Letters of Reference.
