Ballston Spa High School is looking for a certified Special Education teacher to work in a 12:1+1 classroom (grades 9-12) with students that are NYSAA. Experience working in a special class for students with multiple disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, is preferred. The ideal candidate will be able to employ various techniques and methods of instruction to meet individual needs, work collaboratively with related service providers, and effectively lead staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, writing and progress monitoring IEP's, communicating with team members and parents, and planning transition activities.Minimum Qualifications: NYS Certification: Students with Disabilities 7-12Salary: BASE: $50,500 (Salary will vary commensurate with experience, experienced applicants will typically see an increase over base) Please Upload: Letter of Interest, Updated Resume, Certification, Transcripts, and two (2) Letters of Reference.
