Ballston Spa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy providing oversight of all aspects of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. (Starting 7/1/24)The successful candidate will: Conduct an ongoing analysis and monitoring of current curriculum initiatives and oversee the implementation and development of new curriculum initiativesBe responsible for the leadership and management of: Instructional coaches, Library media specialists, the K-12 STEM Coordinator, ENL staff, and the Office of Curriculum staffOversee Universal Pre-K: Placements, site visitations and training in curriculum best practices for staffBe responsible for the development and submission of Title I, II and IV grantsAct as the District NYS Testing CoordinatorProvide ongoing Professional Development for staff as it pertains to curriculum, instruction and assessmentProvide oversight and support of Enrichment Programs and Young ScholarsConduct hiring and provide support for General Education Summer ProgramsServe on the District MTSS TeamProvide curriculum support for Homeschool familiesProvide teacher support through Instructional CoachesWork with Building Principals and other Administrators to provide direction in the development of their curriculum goalsMinimum Qualification: NYS certification: SDA or SDLSalary: Commensurate with experiencePlease Upload: Letter of Interest, Updated Resume, proof of Certification, transcripts, and two (2) Letters of Reference.
