Gordon Creek Elementary School is looking for a special education teacher who has a strong background in crisis intervention, behavior management, is trauma informed and knowledgeable of mental health diagnosis. This position reports to the Building Principal and Special Education Department. The Special Education Teacher develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of all students with disabilities. This position requires a high degree of adaptability, attention to diversity and equitable outcomes. The special education teacher will employ and implement a classroom structure and consistency to encourage student participation and belonging.
