The Bedford Central School District is seeking two Tiered Support Leave Replacement TeachersFor Mount Kisco Elementary School.Anticipated Duration: December 2025 through June 2026.Position Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years successful classroom experience;Experience with Response to InterventionExtensive coursework in the fundamentals of reading instruction, including phonemic awareness, phonics, and language development;Training in structured literacy approach to teaching reading;Extensive knowledge of K-5 skills progression in mathematics;Extensive repertoire of effective teaching strategies;Strong communication skills;Reading Certification and/or Dual Certification in Special Education a plusSpanish speaking and/or bilingual certified preferred. Certification Required: NYS Certification Childhood Education, K-6 or 1-6;Bilingual Extension preferred but not required. Candidates should apply by November 21, 2025. Salary starting at $78,301 (prorated for the assignment) or higher commensurate upon experience.
