HEALTH EDUCATION TEACHER (6 th GRADE) ANTICIPATED PLACEMENT : Rombout Middle School The Beacon City School District is in need of a motivated educator who values the promotion of health education and who obtains strong collaborative and interpersonal skills. This is a probationary, tenure-track position that begins at the start of the 2026-27 school year. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Valid NYS Certification in Health Education Grades K-12. Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following are required: Effective, student centered classroom management strategies; Culturally responsive instructional practices for Health instructional settings; The ability to co-teach and plan with various other teachers in the district; Experience working with students with disabilities; Student/Family/Community communication and engagement; Coaching experience required. Compensation per BTA Contract
