Physical Therapist – Early Intervention | Per DiemNassau & Suffolk County In-Home/Community & On-Site LocationsIn-Home/Community Salary: $82/hrOn-Site Locations Salary: $95/hrBrookville Center for Children's Services provides early intervention services for children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or disabilities. Our mission is to educate and support children of all abilities.We seek a Physical Therapist to perform physical therapy evaluations and conduct therapy sessions following students’ IEP/IFSPs, communicate appropriately with professional staff and families of assigned students, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with the regulations established by NYSED, DOH, and other oversight agencies.We offer:Competitive payNew York State Sick Leave (NYSSL)Wellness incentivesContinuing education opportunitiesMileage reimbursement (restrictions apply)In addition, you will:Assess students' needs using formal and informal measures; set goals for IEP/IFSPs.Develop and implement therapeutic activities to enhance motor control and skills.Provide physical therapy per IEP/IFSP specifications and use positive behavior supports.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; share progress and integrate strategies.Maintain professional communication with families and staff; participate in meetings.Complete timely paperwork, reports, and evaluations; supervise interns as needed.Ensure a healthy, safe environment and adhere to policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.Engage in professional development, continuing education, and active supervision.We require:Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited programNew York State Licensure and Registration as a Physical TherapistKnowledge of anatomy and neuromotor development, as normally acquired through completion of an accredited physical therapy programMinimum (1) year related work experience with preschool and school-age special needs populations preferredPhysical capacity: Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students.In addition to applying on OLAS.
