The district educates approximately 1,500 students in grades K–12 and is comprised of three schools: Babylon Elementary School (Grades K–2), Babylon Memorial Grade School (Grades 3–6), and Babylon Junior Senior High School (Grades 7–12). The anticipated opening will be at Babylon Memorial Grade School, serving students in grades 3–6, effective July 1, 2026. Babylon’s elementary program emphasizes student centered, authentic instruction and is grounded in a strong literacy foundation supported by clear instructional practices and targeted interventions. The district values the arts, is committed to promoting social emotional growth, and benefits from strong family and community partnerships. Minimum Qualifications: New York State School Administrator or Supervisor or School Building Leader certification is required. Preferred candidates will demonstrate a successful track record serving as an elementary assistant principal or principal, with experience at the upper elementary level.
