The Babylon Union Free School District is seeking a full-time, probationary Special Education Teacher beginning September 1, 2026. The successful candidate will possess appropriate New York State certification and demonstrate knowledge and experience serving students in grades K–6. Candidates should have experience in diverse special education classroom settings, data collection, effective classroom management, and the implementation of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners are essential. Qualifications: Valid NYSED certification in Special Education K–6 (required) Experience teaching students in grades K–6 Experience with special class programs preferred Knowledge of IEP development and implementation All interested candidates must apply via the Online Application System for Educators (OLAS) on or before April 1, 2026.
