The Babylon Union Free School District (UFSD) is seeking a dynamic Special Education Teacher for grades 7–12 at Babylon Junior-Senior High School, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year. Full New York State fingerprint clearance and the following certifications are required: Students with Disabilities 7–12Extension Certification in English Language Arts 7–12 for Special EducationCertification in Literacy 7–12 Preferred qualifications include demonstrated knowledge of Science of Reading instructional practices and training or certification in multisensory reading instruction (e.g., Wilson Reading System, Orton-Gillingham).
