The Babylon Union Free School District (UFSD) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Special Education Teacher for grades 7-12, beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will hold a Secondary Generalist certification and have proven expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management, and working with students eligible for the New York State Alternate Assessment (NYSAA). Key responsibilities include:Implementing functional academic curriculum tailored to individual student needs.Developing and executing transition plans for students moving to post-secondary opportunities.Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support student success. Experience in a similar role and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment are essential.
