The Auburn Enlarged City School District is seeking a NYSED certified Special Education candidate to run a Day Treatment Program at a building to be determined. The starting salary ranges from $54,314 (with no master s degree) to $56,084 (with master s degree). Additional compensation will be given for additional graduate credit hours beyond the master s degree. For children and adolescents, Day Treatment Programs integrate mental health service with educational support. These programs offer individual and group counseling, family therapy, case management, medical management, and crisis intervention. Eligibility typically requires a mental health diagnosis and a referral from the school district's committee on special education. Included in this classroom are a special education teacher, teaching assistant, teacher aide and mental health staff through Cayuga Counseling.
