The Auburn Enlarged City School District is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of full-time teacher aide for the Day Treatment classroom. Teacher aides earn $15.50 per hour. Applicant can begin work after NYS Education Department fingerprint clearance (at a cost of $102 paid by the applicant) and Board of Education approval. Successful candidates are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits. For children and adolescents, day treatment programs integrate mental health services with educational support. These programs offer individual and group counseling, family therapy, case management, medical management, and crisis intervention. Eligibility typically requires a mental health diagnosis and a referral from the school district’s Committee on Special Education.
